Athal earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. During this time, she received extensive training in crisis intervention and assessment at a community resource and crisis center. She worked with individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of concerns. Athal has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families.

Throughout her education, she received training in administering various neuropsychological assessments. She takes a humanistic and holistic approach when working with individuals from various backgrounds.

Athal previously completed her bachelor’s degree in biology from Oakland University.
