Andrea Brent, Psy.D. LP

Licensed Psychologist & Neuropsychological Fellow

Dr. Brent completed her doctoral coursework at the Michigan School of Psychology in Farmington Hills, MI. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from Central Michigan University, where she participated in behavioral and pharmacological research in Huntington’s Disease and actively engaged in coaching with Special Olympics of Michigan. Dr. Brent obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with training in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation psychology. She is a Board Member of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America - Michigan Chapter. She completed internship training at The Oscar G. Johnson Veteran’s Affair’s Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy in adult and geriatric populations. Her areas of focus are chronic illness, dementia, grief & loss, health psychology, and trauma rehabilitation.
